Kyoko: Do you have a lot of artwork at home?
Hannah: Not a lot, but I did just buy this big bold painting for my living room. How about you?
Kyoko: Just a few pieces because our apartment is so small!
Have you been to any art museums recently?
Hannah: Yeah, I went to this new art museum downtown last month. They had an exhibition of photography taken by local artists. Some of it was really quite captivating.
Kyoko: Sounds awesome. What famous artworks do you want to see in person?
Hannah: Oh, so many! But if I had to pick, I'd love to see the Mona Lisa up close.
I feel like I know so much about the piece already but I bet it must be absolutely magnificent in person.
Kyoko: For sure! I've always wanted to see Van Gogh's Starry Night and
Da Vinci's The Last Supper.
Hannah: Do you have any artistic skills yourself?
Kyoko: Well, I love to sketch, but it's just something I do for fun, and my
drawings are quite abstract. How about you?
Hannah: I did a pottery course a few years ago, so I make bowls and mugs for myself and friends. Have you thought about taking art classes?
Kyoko: Yeah, I've considered it — I'd love to learn how to paint or even carve. But I don't have the time, A modern living room with a big painting, colorful sofa, a woman in a chair, and a wall with bookshelves. The room has plants and natural light. A sense of artistic conversation is evident
