The first step in making microneedles was to prepare a production mold, and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and Sylgard-184 were used to make the microneedles mold. To do this, first a metal mold with the desired size and shape for the microneedles was purchased, which had a network of 10×10 pyramidal microneedles with a length of 600 microns. Then, according to the manufacturer's recommendations, the raw materials were combined in a ratio of 1 to 10 and, after vortexing, poured into the mold preparation frame. The metal mold was placed in the frame at the specified location and, after 4 hours in a desiccator, was kept at room temperature for two days and nights to form crosslinks and form the PDMS micromold.
To prepare the microneedles, the obtained PDMS mold was used as a production mold, Photograph of a PDMS microneedles mold with a network of 10x10 pyramidal microneedles. The mold is white and square, featuring sharp peaks arranged evenly
