You are required to design two houses that one of them will take place in North Part of Iran and
where the other house will take place in South or Middle Part of Iran ( you must select here only
one region South or Middle).
You must consider achieving design strategies in relation to building physics (such as orientation of
building mass and functions, building mass, opening types , sizes and direction, building material,
shading devices, building form, insulation, ceiling height and form etc) by referring to Climatical
Factors of given specified Environments.
Note: This course is related with how different climatical factors affect the design strategies and
decisions in relation to building physics by referring to the human comfort and health. Therefore,
the term project is limited with design decisions in relation to Climate. Concept and architectural
aesthetics and any other dimensions will not be considered in evaluation of the term project.
However, if you would like to offer these values in your design, you are more welcome. Single- storey house
